The purpose of this website is to present to you my personal spirituality.
In my past, I was a very non-spiritual person, adhering to rationalism, skepticism, materialism, atheism, sometimes cynicism, and partly a mindset of scarcity and survival (rather than abundance and thriving). By “materialism” I do not mean consumerism or seeing material possessions as one of my central goals but rather seeing the universe only at the level of physical matter and energy as can be investigated by the natural sciences like physics and biology.
But since them, I have undergone a long process, which is still unfolding, of gradually shifting away from some of my older perspectives and opening up to more spiritual viewpoints.
I have not abandoned the healthy core principles of rationalism and skepticism, such as humility about what I know and what others know, and thus doubting claims that do not have sufficient evidence. However, I opened up to new types of evidence and new types of experiencing the world and myself, as well as becoming more aware of the inherent limitations of the human mind and rational thinking, and having the good fortune of personally experiencing new modes of conscious processes.
